These pieces were made during Winter 2007 while Juma participated in a residency programme at A.I.R Vallauris in the south-east of France. ‘The Houses’ are inspired by the narrow streets and colloquial architecture of southern French cities like Cannes. The other objects come from natural forms and wildlife on the Mediterranian coast.
